Thieves got away with several guns in Murfreesboro, including a Civil War rifle, and now the homeowner has been hoping to have them returned.

Johnson called 9-1-1 after noticing the break-in. That's when he discovered shotguns, rifles and jewelry stolen from a gun cabinet in his bedroom, including his great-grandfather's gun...

That gun is worth, according to Johnson, 25-thousand dollars. But more importantly, the guns were passed down from generations.

Murfreesboro Police continue to investigate the break-in. If you have any information, contact local authorities.
