Council Approves New Meeting Time

If you are someone who regularly attends Murfreesboro City Council meetings, the city considered and approved a resolution to slightly change the council calendar.

It is thought that regular meetings in a workshop format allow staff and Council to discuss City issues and are a useful means to facilitate discussions, provide information, and receive Council direction. By establishing regular meeting dates for workshop sessions Council will be utilizing the most effective manner for conducting these discussions.

ADVERTISEMENT
The workshop meeting for Council and staff will be held on the second Wednesday of each month. This would take the place of the scheduled Thursday council meeting in that second week unless it is deemed necessary to hold a meeting.
