Evans says officers were dispatched to that location as well. Investigators learned that Cody Davidson and Justin Alldredge drove to Murfreesboro from Alabama to complete a sale of stereo equipment. During the transaction, the two were held at gunpoint by Coteshio Lawrence, Ronnie Scales, and Deviyon Smith during a robbery.

Alldredge told investigators that he believed he was in imminent danger of being shot so he armed himself with a pistol and shot Smith twice. Alldredge was licensed out of Alabama to carry the pistol. Davidson and Alldredge left the scene and called authorities once they were in a safe location.

Lawrence and Scales were questioned and arrested by Detective Larry Maples and charged with Aggravated Robbery. Warrants were obtained for Smith on charges of Aggravated Robbery and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He will be arrested when he is released from the hospital.
