Murfreesboro Police investigators are conducting a death investigation. This after a white male was found inside a room at the Jackson Motel. A housekeeper opened the door to clean room 107 when she discovered the unresponsive man and called police. The man, identified as Cody James, was taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital and pronounced deceased. The M-P-D's Criminal Investigative Divison was called to the scene to take over the search for answers.
