The body of a deceased woman was found in Murfreesboro.

Murfreesboro Police PIO Amy Norville tells NewsRadio WGNS Saturday, officers responded to a call of a possible lifeless body on Hope Way just off West College Street.

She says upon arrival, officers located the lifeless body of an unidentified young black female.

Norville says this investigation is in the preliminary stages at this time, therefore her cause of death is yet to be determined.
