Design Public Meeting scheduled on Jones Blvd. Improvement Project Nov. 1

The City of Murfreesboro will conduct a public informational meeting at Mitchell Neilson Elementary School, Tuesday, November 1, 2016, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., to provide an opportunity for public comment on the proposed Jones Boulevard Improvement Project.

The widening project from Ridgely Road to Northfield Boulevard would add a 10-foot multi-use path, a 5-foot sidewalk, and the addition of curbs and gutters.

Representatives from the City of Murfreesboro and design firm engineers will provide a brief project introduction during the public meeting. The public will be given time to review and provide public comment. In addition, public comment cards will be available for the public to provide written input on the proposed improvement within a 21-day period.
