Smyrna Police need the public's help in apprehending a man who passed several counterfeit fifty dollar bills. The crimes occurred on Sunday, January 20th, at the Game Stop.

Chief Kevin Arnold told WGNS News that an unknown Black male entered the business at 801 Industrial Boulevard and used a fake fifty dollar bill to purchase a two-dollar game. While the clerk was getting change, the culprit pulled more phony paper money out and boldly asked for more change. The clerk handed him the change from the transaction and the change for the second fifty at the same time. The suspect then left without giving the clerk the fifty he was getting change for.
