Dietrich joins First National Bank of Middle Tennessee

A well-known, service-oriented community banker has joined the staff of First National Bank of Middle Tennessee, Brian Wilcox, executive vice president, announced.

John Dietrich joins First National as senior vice president and commercial lender, bringing 27 years of banking experience and an impressive resume of community involvement and service to the position.

Dietrich will be located at the bank's branch at 1708 Gateway Boulevard.

"John is a true community banker in every sense of the definition, and we are very excited to add him to our team of professional bankers in the Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee market," Wilcox said.

Dietrich most recently served as a vice president in commercial banking at another bank. He has extensive banking experience, primarily in commercial, small business and consumer lending.
He graduated from UT-Knoxville in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in administration/finance. A graduate of Riverdale High School, he has lived in Rutherford County his whole life.

Dietrich has served on the boards for the Rotary Noon Club (president 2015-2016), Jesse Beesley Animal Humane Foundation (president from 2012-2014), Howard's Hope (treasurer 2017-present), Rutherford County American Heart Association (Heart Ball Chair in 2014), Rutherford County UT Alumni Association (president and treasurer 2006-2013), and BEP (Advisory Board).

John has also been a volunteer for United Way in the past with regards to fundraising (Cabinet/Professional Division Head 2006-2008), and allocations committee (2013).

He is a 2007 Leadership Rutherford Graduate, Paul Harris Fellow, and Eagle Scout.

John and his wife Lisa have three daughters, Emma, Leah and Emma Jean. His running buddy is his dog, Sally.
