A $2,500 concert speaker set, strobe lights and more were stolen from Concert Productions in Murfreesboro. Evidently, the equipment was rented from a man claiming to be a DJ, but never returned.

The DJ and a female accomplice told workers at the rental company that the audio and lighting equipment was going to be used at an event in Franklin. When police spoke to the owner of the location of the alleged event, the owner said an event was not held in his building on the date in question.
