Sanford said they do have freezers and refrigerators available to store turkey's that are dropped off. The turkey's will be handed out to local residents who normally could not afford a Thanksgiving Day meal. The event will take place THIS Saturday.
Greenhouse will make a focused effort to collect food on Friday. The food collected will be handed out to those in need on Saturday. Again, the collection day is this Friday, Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the food GIVEAWAY is THIS Saturday.
The lineon Saturday will start forming to receive the turkeys around 8:00 in the morning on the 23rd. For volunteer information, phone Greenhouse at 494-0499.
