Crushing up aspirin and trying to sell it as illegal drugs will still net charges against you. A Woodbury man found that out recently.
According to police reports, Cannon County Sheriff's Investigator Brandon Gullett, arrested 22 year old William Burford Fletcher of Woodbury after he had in his possession a small baggie of powder substance. Fletcher stated that it was crushed aspirin that he was intending to sell as cocaine.
After a search of his truck, a syringe was found inside a cellphone box under the driver seat. Not only was Fletcher charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for the syringe, he caught a charge of possession of counterfeit substance with intent to sell.
Fletcher is due to answer to the charges in Cannon County General Sessions Court on August 19th.
