Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital welcomes Dr. Lindsay Keith, breast oncology surgeon, to its medical staff. Saint Thomas Health is part of Ascension, the nation's largest Catholic and non-profit health system.
Dr. Keith is with Murfreesboro Surgical Specialist on the St. Thomas campus in suite 440 of the Seton Building at 1800 Medical Center Parkway.
She earned her B.S. in Biology at Texas Tech University and her Doctor of Medicine from Texas A&M University. Dr. Keith completed her residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee Medical Center and her fellowship in breast oncology surgery at Baylor University Medical Center.
She realized her empathy for cancer patients early in training, and throughout the course of residency developed a passion specifically for breast cancer patients. For this reason, she sought comprehensive training in the diagnosis and management of breast cancer and breast diseases.
Dr. Keith has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in the field of breast oncology. She and her husband Eric reside in Christiana with their two sons.
