E.T. and Clarence Guice are a local couple who believe in giving back to our community. Both are volunteers in the Senior Citizens Awareness Network (SCAN). In fact, E.T. is the volunteer coordinator for SCAN at the local sheriffs office. Sure--SCAN helps senior citizens with chores they can no longer do alone, but the biggest gift is being "human contact"--giving some seniors the only person with whom they regularly talk.
