Eagle Scout Troop 398 recently took on a project at Siegel High School in Murfreesboro. The project was a Memorial Garden.

The idea for the garden project came about when we lost student Josh Harris from Siegel and Troop 398 last fall. The main work was removing all of the old vegetation, preparing the beds, mulching, and doing the edge work with the landscaping timbers. In addition, we cleaned the paver stones and pressure washed the fountain, plaques, and planters. With help from Troop 398, neighbors, family, and some Siegel Key Club members, over 200 man hours were involved from start to finish.
