An early Monday (10/28/2019) morning single-car motor vehicle crash occurred in the east bound lane (toward Chattanooga) of I-24 at mile marker 95, between the Buchanan Road and Beechgrove exits.

One person was transported to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hosptal.

Their black, 4-door sedan left the roadway and slammed into a tree.

Rutherford County Fire Rescue's engine 51, along with Christiana Fire Department, Rutherford County Sheriffs Office, Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services, and THP responded.
