(MURFREESBORO) Early morning motorcycle vs SUV crash on Vine Street at Broad has cyclist in critical but stable condition at Vanderbilt. It happened shortly after midnight in the early Thursday morning hours.

PIO Larry Flowers said, "Preliminary investigation revealed the SUV was on Vine St. and tried crossing Broad, failing to yield to the motorcycle. Motorcyclist collided with the driver's side door."

He was flown by LifeFlight to the Trauma Center at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
