The Parks and Recreation Department of La Vergne is planning the Annual Easter Egg Hunt just in time for spring. The festivities will take place on Saturday, April 12, at Veterans Memorial Park located at 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive.

There will be games and activities for the whole family starting at 9:00 a.m., and the Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 10:00 a.m. The hunt is open to ages 11 and under. There will be three age divisions with three grand prize golden eggs for newborn to age four, ages five to seven, and ages eight to 11 years old.

“The Annual Easter Egg Hunt always has a huge turnout. It has become one of the most favorite events for La Vergne residents and their children,” said Mayor Senna Mosley. “Everyone enjoys watching the children run and look for the colorful eggs. It is a wonderful family day for our community”.

Even though this is the busy time of the year, the Easter Bunny has promised to make an appearance and pose for pictures.
