Endangered MISSING TEEN in LaVergne, Tennessee

UPDATE: TEEN FOUND

Past Story: A massive search is underway in La Vergne for a special needs La Vergne High School student who missed the bus this morning. According to Police Chief Mike Walker, 16-year old Leticia Diaz is considered endangered because of the existing and incoming weather.

Diaz was last seen around 7:50 a.m. at 1504 Old Farm Trail. She was wearing a brown jacket and pajama pants. Diaz left the residence via unknown means and in an unknown direction.

An Amber Alert is pending. LPD is working with the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office to locate the student.
