The Environmental Education Outdoor Classroom, located across from the Farmers' Market at the Extension Office at 315 John R. Rice Boulevard, will host two fun activities this week.

The activities for Tuesday, June 23, will include Enviroscapes and Exploring Storm Water Drains. This is for those that have wondered where the water goes! Project Wet Coordinator Bonnie Ervin will lead kids and adults on a wonderful adventure of hands-on learning about why it's so important to take care of Tennessee waterways.

Activities for Friday, June 30, will center around helping the Rutherford County Farmers' Market celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Come out and enjoy the fun.

In addition, the Outdoor Classroom always offers free activities for kids of all ages and the young at heart. The goal is to educate about the importance of recycling and water quality in a friendly, hands-on way to engage young minds.
