The counterfeit bills keep coming and the bills are getting smaller.

Most recently, a fake $10 bill was almost used at the Sudden Service gas station in front of the North Rutherford Boulevard Walmart store. An employee recognized the $10 bill as being a phony and refused to take it. Luckily, the employee held on to the counterfeit 10 and refused to give it back.

By the time police arrived, the customer was gone. The fake cash was turned over to Murfreesboro Authorities to log as evidence.
