(MURFREESBORO) Family Dollar Store at 1664 Memorial Boulevard was robbed around 1:30PM Wednesday afternoon. Police believe it was the same man who robbed another Family Dollar Store 13-days earlier across town on Lascassas Pike.

Murfreesboro Police PIO Larry Flowers told NewsRadio WGNS that the man entered the store, asked for a pack of cigars and when the clerk opened the cash register, he punched them, grabbed the money, and fled the scene.

Police report this was the identical MO at the May 2, 2019 robbery at the 2073 Lascassas Pike' Family Dollar Store.

The suspect is described as being a medium build, Black male. It is believed that the man fled the scene in a grey Honda. (Surveillance photos of the suspect from both locations is shown)

If you recognize the suspects, please contact Murfreesboro Police Detective Jacob Fountain at 629-201-5525.
