Family Loses Most of Their Belongings in Thursday Morning Fire - Find Out How You Can Help!

Feb 06, 2014 at 01:18 pm by bryan

A Thursday morning fire has destroyed a home in the Smyrna area. The fire was on Weakley Lane at about 4:30 in the morning. Although the fire was out within 15-minutes, the damage was intense. The home was a total loss, but the family was not injured.

A local cheerleading coach is now leading an effort to collect clothing for the family that lost most of their belongings in the Thursday morning blaze. Erica Weaver says that she aims to help the family by collecting new or like new clothes for the mother and father, along with their little girl who is 9. Weaver is also collecting school supplies for the child.
