Farmer's Market Classes This Week

There are more exciting classes scheduled this week at the Rutherford County Farmer's Market.

On Tuesday, Catie Beth Thomas, a local fiber artists, is offering a free class on Nature Weaving. Create & take home a natural weaving. You may bring any pieces of fabric, dried flowers, shells or other natural materials that you want to use.

Then on Friday, UT Entomologist Frank Hale is presenting Beyond Honey: Exploring the Diversity and importance of native bees. Learn how to identify native bees and discover the important role they play in pollinating native and exotic plants.

Classes are free. They start at 9 a.m. and last approximately one hour. All classes are held at the Community Center in the Lane Agri-Park complex on John R Rice Blvd.
