Farmers Market this Tuesday and Friday

Here are the free weekly classes at the Farmer's Market for the upcoming week:

The Rutherford County Farmers' Market is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to noon at the Lane Agri-Park Community Center, 315 John R. Rice Blvd, Murfreesboro. As always, it is a producer only market. The classes officially come to a close for the season on Friday, October 30, 2015. The 30th is also the last date for the market this season.

October 27th

"Seasonal Eating - Going Green" is the class on Tuesday, Oct. 27th. The class is presented by Extension Agent Carla Bush. This is the final session in the very popular seasonal eating classes. Carla will showcasing green vegetables. They are not just for summer! Fall brings out the flavor in green vegetables and makes them a hit at your table. Recipes provided! This Rutherford County Farmer's Market class is free and begins at 9 a.m. in the Lane Agri-Park Community Center, located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd.

October 30th

On Friday, October 30th the topic is "Homemade Mead" given by MTSU professor Tony Johnston. This class is about making the sweet stuff at home. Perfect for the holidays! This event is free and starts at 9 a.m. in the Lane Agri-Park Community Center, located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd.
