Fatal Crash In Front Of MTCS

(MURFREESBORO) One person was killed in a 3-vehicle fatal crash in front of Middle Tennessee Christian School on Memorial Boulevard. It occurred at 10:10AM Christmas eve morning (12/24/2018).

46-year old Damion Paul Hart was driving a 2013 Toyota Corolla toward town (south). He was in the left turn lane on Memorial Boulevard when he collided with two northbound vehicles. Hart was not properly restrained and had to be extricated from the vehicle by Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue. Damion Paul Hart was rushed to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, but died in the ER.

A motorist who was passed by the Toyota told NewsRadio WGNS what they saw . . .

The two northbound vehicles included a 2015 Cadillac Escalade driven by 37-year old Jennifer Deason and a 2008 Lexus RX5 driven by 27-year old Ashlyn R. Hare. The family in the Lexus were properly restrained and did not receive any injuries. Mrs. Deason and her child were restrained properly, but were taken by RCEMS to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Everyone involved in the Christmas eve crash were residents of Murfreesboro.

The Murfreesboro Police FACT Team (Fatal Accident Crash Team) is conducting an investigation.
