The man killed Tuesday night when he lost control of his motorcycle on I-24 East near the Old Hickory Boulevard exit is identified as Michael C. Berry, 64, of Clarksville, Tennessee.

The preliminary investigation shows that Berry was riding his 2003 Honda east on I-24 when, for reasons unknown, he lost control at 8:15 p.m. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.

There was no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene.
