Felony Cocaine Charges Filed AFTER Phone Call in Local Jail

A man who was recently arrested on a traffic violation was allowed to make a phone call once at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and that phone call ended up landing a second person behind bars. The subject could allegedly be overheard telling the person on the other end of the line to go back to the parking lot and “Get the white paint next to the vehicle.”

Without skipping a beat, authorities went to the parking lot in question on North highland Avenue in Murfreesboro and met up with 38-year old Jessie Harold Vinson. So what was the “White Paint?” It was evidently cocaine, according to an arrest report. The person who was originally stopped for a traffic violation actually helped police land his so called friend behind bars under “Felony Possession of Cocaine” charges. Vinson will face the courts in February.
