A man who according to police appeared to be involved in suspicious activity, was questioned by the authorities Wednesday evening. 21-year old Xavier Dante Martin was noticed by an off duty officer at The Grove Apartments. The report shows the subject does not live at the complex.

When police stopped Martin, they noticed a large bulge in his pants. At the same time, the odor of weed was present. When police pointed out the smell, the man reached into his pocket aiming for the bulge which was revealed to be marijuana. The report shows that three more bags of marijuana were stuffed in his pants as well, all of which were seized by Murfreesboro Police. In case you lost count in that whirlwind of information... a total of four bags of marijuana were taken from Martin.

Martin was arrested and now faces felony marijuana possession charges. He will appear in Rutherford County General Sessions Court in the near future.
