Shortly after 6:00 o'clock Wednesday evening (4/19/2017), Murfreesboro Police rushed to the intersection of North Highland and Forrest Street on a call about a fight and shots being fired.

Sergeant Kyle Evans told NewsRadio WGNS, "There was a fight between several females in the parking lot. Someone fired shots at a vehicle that left the area."

Detectives questioned at least one person who was involved.

Evans stressed, "No one and nothing was struck (by bullets) as far as we are aware at this point."

Detectives from the Murfreesboro Police Department are investigating.
