A fire just barely over the Rutherford County line in the Beechgrove area is being investigated. The fire took place late Sunday afternoon in Lakewood Park on Pin Oak Run. It was a small mobile home with no electricity service to it.
When the New Union Fire Department got to the structure it was completely on the ground. It was unsure if a man was staying there or not. He was last seen the day before in Tullahoma.
The cause of the fire was undetermined and the home was a total loss. The Coffee County sheriff’s department will investigate.
