First of Five New Schools ON GO in Rutherford County

The Rutherford County Commission voted unanimously on March 17 to fund the first year of the Rutherford County Schools' building plan. That means funding has been approved for a new middle school on Rocky Fork Road to open in 2017, a renovation/addition at Smyrna Middle School to open in 2017 and design work to be completed for the renovation/addition at David Youree Elementary School.
