Forecast Calls for Accumulating Snow

The National Weather Service is alerting Middle Tennesseans of the possibility of accumulating snowfall. They report at least three periods of weather into the first of next week will bring some type of significant weather into the mid-state.

Temperatures will remain cold and get even colder in advance of a system by the first of the week that could bring measurable snowfall. The National Weather Service says one-to-three inches is not out of the question and as the event gets closer, they'll be able to fine tune the forecast.

Forecasters advise residents to stay tuned for future updates concerning the possibility of wintry weather in the extended forecast.
