Stones River Mall has announced the addition of Melinda Hudgins Noblitt as Marketing Manager.

“We are excited to add Melinda to our team here at Stones River Mall,” says Jeff Liposky, mall manager. “She brings experience in social media, event planning, marketing and a thorough understanding of the community, and I am confident she will do well in her new role.” 

Noblitt began her journalism career in 2008 as business reporter for The Daily News Journal covering topics ranging from the local real estate to new business openings. In this position, Noblitt was able to build relationships with local residents, business owners and community leaders. 

Upon her departure from The DNJ in late-2010, Noblitt launched her freelance writing and marketing career, partnering with companies throughout Middle Tennessee.  During this time, she has covered the business beat for The Murfreesboro Post.

An MTSU graduate, Noblitt earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication with a double minor in Spanish and Speech. She has been a member of Tennessee Press Association, Nashville Symphony Council and Society of Professional Journalists.

Noblitt has many new and exciting events planned for Stones River Mall, including a Red Cross Blood Drive that has been scheduled for Friday, July 5.
