A former employee of South East Signature Motors on Broad Street allegedly helped himself to 12 car batteries, tires and more on Tuesday afternoon. Evidently, the former worker showed up at the dealer and pulled into the shop. His kids were said to be in the car with him when he pulled into the garage area.

Once inside, the 34-year old allegedly grabbed car batteries and other accessories and left. A part-time worker who was in the shop when the theft happened said that he didn't realize the man was no longer employed by South East Signature.
