A former midstate prep baseball standout has been arrested. Eighteen-year old Justus Sheffield of Tullahoma, was arrested Monday, charged with aggravated burglary and underage drinking. He was arrested by Tullahoma Police for allegedly breaking into a residence on Cumberland Avenue around 4:30 a.m. Monday. Our local Rutherford County prep baseball teams faced off against the Gatorade National Baseball Player of the Year several times during his prep career. The pitcher was drafted last year by the Cleveland Indians. He will face the courts next month on the charges.
