TakeFlight Archery, working with the Riverdale High School archery team, will be hosting a fun, FREE, community event for all ages this Saturday (Feb 17th) from 10 am - 5 pm, at the Lane AgriPark Community Center on John R. Rice Blvd. in Murfreesboro!

The event, "Cams & Cans," is intended to bring the community together for fun & for a good cause.

Donations of canned goods, disposable plates, cups, utensils, garbage bags, bottled water, etc., as well as personal/hotel sized soaps, shampoos, lotions, lip balm, etc will be collected for distribution to local food-banks & emergency shelters.

All attendees are also invited to help assemble personal hygiene bags for shelters to distribute to those who come to them for help. This is a way for our community to "pay it forward" to those members of our community who could use some kindness.

Experienced archery coaches & archers will be on hand for all attendees who would like to experience the thrill of archery in a safe venue. There will be an archery range with both competition style targets & 3D targets, as well as an archery inflatable that uses soft-tipped arrows.

All archery equipment will be provided for use at the event.
