Music will fill the fall night air this Friday, September 25 at Veterans Memorial Park in La Vergne. Missy Garnett and Two Dollar Pistols will perform during a free concert from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. including country, rock, and a selection of popular songs.

"Missy always puts on a great show for La Vergne," said Parks & Recreation Director A.C. Davis. "Her music is fun and entertaining for the entire family and you can't help but to sing along with these great musicians!"

Music in the Park is one of several events planned this fall at the park. The annual Howl at Moon 5K is planned on October 16 at 8:00 p.m. Registration for the Howl at the Moon 5K is $25 for 12 age divisions.

The following Friday, October 24, children of all ages will take a walk along the candy Trail of Treats. Local businesses and organizations are being sought to sponsor a table at the event.
