The Discovery Center will host the Healthy Me, Healthy You event promoting pediatric and family wellness on Saturday, September 7 in Murfreesboro.

Several community partners will offer interactive and educational activities addressing a variety of health and wellness issues for children and adults including childhood obesity, healthy portion control, CPR and much more. Activities include a bounce house and several fitness demonstrations that visitors can enjoy. Visitors can also explore Discovery Center’s newest exhibit, Animal Secrets.

“This event engages the children of our community in healthy activities, connects families to the outdoors and provides families with resources to sustain a healthy lifestyle,” Discovery Center CEO Tara MacDougall said. “This type of event captures the ideals of our organization and that of the Let’s Move Museum movement.”
