(MURFREESBORO) The UT Extension Service is offering a free "HOPS AND HEMP INFORMATIONAL MEETING" on Tuesday, January 29th, at the Lane Agri-Park, 315 John R. Rice Boulevard. Space is limited, reserve your seat now. Again, it's free--but you need to RSVP in advance by phoning 615-898-7710.

Dr. David Hughes or Aaron Smith beging the session at 9:00AM with information about the cost of prducing and marketing hops. Eric Walker then focuses on ag practices and considerations in producing hops.

at 1:00 o'clock that afternoon the hemp section begins as Katy Kilboune tells about hemp licensing, rules and regulations. After that Eric Walker shows the ag practices and considerations for producing hemp. Dr. Hughes and Aaron Smith then cover the cost and production and marketing of hemp. Clint Palmer wraps-up the meeting with news of hemp production from a producer's perspective.
