The Firestone tire shop on West College Street in Murfreesboro fell victim to vandalism. It appeared to police as if someone punched out the glass on the side of the building. Officers were called to the scene when the alarm went off at the business.

When police arrived on the scene they observed a man standing shoe-less leaning against the wall. Police say the man had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. He also had a cut on his right knuckle, possibly from punching out a glass window, according to the police report.
