What is being called a "Grill & Greet" will be held at the Murfreesboro Police Department on Friday. The event is being planned by Pastor John Spurgeon at New Vision Baptist Church on Thompson Lane.

Pastor Spurgeon told WGNS the event is open to the public from 10 AM until 3 PM on Friday. The event will allow local residents to thank the men and women in blue and get a free meal.

Again, the Grill & Greet will be on Friday (11/19/16) from 10 in the morning until 3, Friday afternoon at the Murfreesboro Police Department.
