A groundbreaking ceremony will take place on March 4, 2016 for the soon to be built Rutherford County Judicial Center in Murfreesboro. Mayor Burgess said phase one will be the first step in construction.

The new judicial building will be at the intersections of North Maple and West Lytle Streets. The parking garage will be where the Daily News Journal once stood.
