A man by the name of Patrick Henry Hughes spoke to a sold out crowd at The Grove on Thursday in Murfreesboro. Patrick was there to help raise funds for Journeys in Community Living, a non profit organization dedicated to helping those who are disabled find their purpose in life or their vision.

The 30 year old who was born without eyes and without the ability to walk, talked about his dreams. One of those dreams happened to be hosting a country music show... which he does online:

In addition to being in a wheelchair, Patrick had to have two steel rods surgically attached to his spine to correct scoliosis. But, that has not slowed him over the years.

Patrick started playing the piano at the age nine months and by college, he participated in the University of Louisville Marching Band for five seasons. His father, Patrick John Hughes, tirelessly maneuvered Patrick's wheelchair through the formations during practices and games...

Patrick's message was simple... If he can do this thing we call life, than anyone can.

Again, he spoke at the annual Journeys in Community Living luncheon and fundraiser in Murfreesboro on Thursday 10/18/18.
