Habitat for Humanity Building 77-Home Subdivision

Here's something unique, Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity is building a 77-home subdivision called Legacy Pointe. The groundbreaking will be at 1:00 o'clock Friday afternoon, April 5, 2019. This will be in the Twin Oak Drive area, off Greenland Drive.
Parking for those attending the celebration will be at the Smithfork District Association, 2701 Halls Hill Pike. A shuttle will take the public to the site.
Habitat's Executive Director Terri Shultz said, "The first phase of five Legacy Pointe homes will be built during Spring, 2020. The second six will be constructed that fall."

Homes in this new subdivision will be constructed by the Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity construction staff, partner families and community volunteers.
Shultz explained, "After Habitat completes a home, it is sold to a qualifying family at no proft and with a zero per cent interest loan."
Rutherford County Habitat for Humanity was established in 1989, and since then has built 160 homes.
