Are you prepared for ghost and goblins on the downtown Murfreesboro square? Trick or treating on the square will be on Halloween afternoon between 3 and 6pm Tuesday (Oct. 31, 2017).

WGNS always receives calls when Halloween fails to fall on a weekend, asking us if trick or treating will be moved to an alternative night. The answer... No. Halloween this year is on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

As far as local neighborhoods go, no restrictions are set in stone on what time trick or treating can begin on Tuesday. Many children often start around 4pm so that they can safely travel from house to house in daylight.

Again, trick or treating on the Murfreesboro square for the 15th year will be Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 6PM.
