Hancock St. Man Facing Drug & Weapon Charges After Traffic Stop

A 60-year old Hancock Street man is facing various drug and weapons charges after being stopped by Murfreesboro Police.

Arthur Sneed, Jr. was pulled over by Officer Nathan Frost Friday on North Maney Avenue as he was known to have an active warrant.

The officer reports smelling marijuana, to which Sneed reportedly admitted to smoking. A search of the vehicle revealed a hypodermic needle, crack pipe and a digital scale.


Over seven grams of crack cocaine and a revolver in the glove box were also recovered. Sneed will face various drug and weapon charged in General Sessions Court April 11th.
