Rutherford County Fire Rescue Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Highway 99 and Rockvale Road. It happened Wednesday night at 11:30. RCFD Lieutenant Steve Majchrzak says the vehicle had flipped and landed on its side and the female driver was trapped inside. RCFD fire fighters and EMS Special Operations Team medics extricated the female from the vehicle and she was transported by RCEMS to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Majchrzak says thankfully another driver noticed the vehicle off the road and in the trees and dialed 911 for help.
