Homelessness is a big problem in the United States. Research shows there are about 500,000 people nationwide who will experience homelessness on any given night. One of the biggest problems with the homelessness situation, is that there is not enough shelters to meet the demand. There are several homeless shelters in Murfreesboro: the Salvation Army, Room in the Inn, Way of Hope, and the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission. There is also The Journey Home which is a day shelter.
