The TSSAA is having their girls soccer state championships in Murfreesboro this week, wrapping up Saturday.

The event will take place at the Richard Siegel Soccer Park, despite the White Lives Matter rally and counter protest on the downtown square.

Officials with the high school sports governing body have said they will have an increased police presence but have decided to continue the event. They have been telling fans and participants to avoid the downtown area due to the rally.
