There was a fatal accident on Jefferson Pike this past Wednesday. State Troopers say that a medical crisis may have contributed to the wreck when Pauline Kempski, 80, crossed over the center line and struck an oncoming car head on. The car she struck was being driven by 49-year old Jeffery Allen Decker. Decker’s wife and 6-year old son were in the car with him when the accident occurred. The Decker’s did not suffer life threatening injuries, but Mrs. Kempski, who was driving the car that crossed the center line,  died at the scene.
